Fire and Police Protection
Police protection is currently provided by the township and the Pennsylvania State Police. The township employs one police officer who works an average of 35 hours per week. To contact police in an emergency, dial 911.
There are two fire companies that serve East Union Township: Citizens Fire Company of Brandonville and Sheppton-Oneida Fire Company, which is located in Sheppton. Both fire companies provide many services to their communities and are a vital asset to the township.
