Employement:

The East Union Township Police Department is currently seeking applications for a part-time, sworn police officer. Applicants must be certified by the Municipal Police Officer’s Education and Training Commission (Act 120) by the date of hire. Applications can be picked up at the township office during business hours.

East Union Township is currently seeking applications for a part-time roadworker. A roadworker is responsible working under the direction of the Roadmaster. Full job description is available upon request. Applications can be picked up at the township office during business hours.

Board Vacancies:

East Union Township is in the process of revitalizing our Recreation Board. The Recreation Board is a group of citizens who want to plan and host community events within the Township. We are trying to determine if there is any public interest for the Recreation Board.

East Union Township is in the process of establishing a crime watch program. The crime watch is a group of citizens who are vigilant of the conditions of the neighborhood. We are trying to determine if the public would be interested in the program.

East Union Township currently has a vacancy on the East Union Township Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is responsible for reviewing land development plans that may come in front of the Township and providing a reccomendation to the Board of Supervisors based upon their review of the developer’s application. The Board meets as needed throughout the year which depends upon the number of applications filed.
