The Township of East Union
Improving roadway safety and accessibility remains a key priority as the Township of East Union continues to invest in strengthening its local infrastructure. The Township Engineer has completed the evaluation of paving projects for the upcoming year.
Roadway Report
The plan is to prepare and pave all dirt roads within the Township of East Union through the use of a Pennsylvania Infrastructure Bank (PIB) loan. This loan is administered through PennDOT and is a low-interest loan to help fund transportation projects. The goal of PIB is to leverage state and federal funds, accelerate critical transportation projects, spur economic development, and assist local government with their transportation needs.
